Kenyan environmentalist and Nobel laureate Wangari Maathai died over the weekend. Our condolences go out to her daughter Wanjari and the Maathi family, as well as the staff of the The Green Belt Movement. It was an honor to meet Wangari, and work with her organization. We know that her great work will continue.
